How do I report an unauthorized transaction?

  1. If you’ve recently noticed unauthorized activity from PayTrie on your bank statement, please report this to PayTrie immediately through support@paytrie.com

  2. If you don’t recognize the charge, it is likely someone was able to gain access to your online banking information and use this information to obtain money from your account

  3. You should report the charges as fraudulent to your bank and open an investigation

  4. You should report the charges as fraudulent to Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre

  5. Finally, you should change your password to your PayTrie account, your bank account, and your email, and enable two factor authentication where available to prevent future unauthorized transaction attempts
