PayTrie Referral Terms and Conditions

The PayTrie Referral Program (“The Program”) allows Users to earn promotional coupon credits (“Credits”) toward stablecoin exchanges by referring friends to become new users on PayTrie.

To participate, Users must agree to these terms, which become part of the PayTrie Terms and Conditions. By accepting and sharing your referral code or by signing up with a referral code, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms. Capitalized terms that are not defined here will have the same meaning given to them in the PayTrie Terms and Conditions.

How to Earn Referral Credits

Anyone may be a referring User who (a) is a legal resident of his/her country, (b) is of legal age where they live, and (c) has an PayTrie account in good standing.

Users can earn Credits if: (i) a referred friend clicks on their referral link to create a Valid PayTrie Account that complies with our Terms and Conditions.

The referring User will be credited with one (1) Credit for each referral after the completion of the referred friend’s account creation.

The maximum Credit that can be earned per User will be $5,000 CAD total made by referred friends, unless indicated otherwise in the referral invitation or accompanying promotional materials.

If you are providing PayTrie with the contact information for your referred friend, you represent that you have the right to provide that information.

Valid PayTrie Account

To receive Credit for referring someone who uses services through the PayTrie Platform and/or websites, your referred friend must (a) be a new PayTrie user, (b) meet the Terms and Conditions of PayTrie, and (c) complete the actions required by the specific referral program.

A Valid PayTrie Account must be made via the PayTrie platform, and the referred friend must complete the account creation process including provide a valid email, provide a valid phone number, provide a valid Canadian address, agrees to PayTrie’s Terms and Conditions, attest to not be a Politically Exposed Person, attest to not be transacting for a third party, passes Express Verification or uploads two pieces of identification documents, and was not previously a PayTrie user, before the referring User can receive Credits.

Redeeming Credits

Credits may only be redeemed via the PayTrie platform. Once earned, Credits will appear as Credit on the referring User’s checkout page, but you may need to enter a code at checkout to redeem the credit. Credits must be used within one year from the date they are issued, after which they will expire. Credits are coupons issued for promotional purposes; they have no cash value and may not be transferred or exchanged for cash.

Credits may not be earned by creating multiple PayTrie Accounts. Credits accrued in separate PayTrie accounts may not be combined into one PayTrie account.

If for any reason you believe that there is a discrepancy regarding your balance of Credits, please contact us. PayTrie may require you to submit additional information in order to make a determination regarding your balance. All decisions regarding your balance will be final and at PayTrie’s sole discretion.

You are responsible for any Tax consequences, if any, that may result from your redemption or use of Credits. Where applicable, PayTrie may be required to account for sales tax on any services for which the Credits are redeemed.

Sharing Referral Links

Your friends, family, and other people you know (but not yourself) may be eligible to be referred.

PayTrie has the right to limit the number of times you may use or share your referral code based on the referral program in which you participate.

Users are prohibited from paying to advertise their referral links.

PayTrie wants you to share your referral code and earn Credits, but referral codes must be used only for personal and non-commercial purposes. This means that you can share your referral code only with people you know. You agree that you will not:

Duplicate, sell, or transfer your referral code in any manner or make it available to the general public (such as by printing it on business cards; posting it on a coupon website, job website or using it as part of a job application, including but not limited to the following website and applications Amazon, EBay, Fiverr, Craigslist, RetailMeNot, Reddit, Wikipedia, Gumtree, Moneysavingexpert, Groupon or using paid social media or paid search);

Try to get referred friends by spamming, bulk emailing, or sending large numbers of unsolicited emails. The only people you should be emailing are people you know personally;

Use, display, or manipulate PayTrie intellectual property (such as PayTrie's logos, trademarks, and copyright-protected works) in any way, except as to identify yourself as an PayTrie user, PayTrie referring User, or referring User for PayTrie;

Create or register any (i) businesses, (ii) URLs, (iii) domain names, (iv) software application names or titles, or (v) social media handles or profiles that include the word "PayTrie" or any of PayTrie's other trademarks or any words that are confusingly similar to PayTrie's trademarks;

Use PayTrie's trademarks as your social media profile picture or wallpaper or use any of PayTrie's copyright-protected works (such as graphics, photos, images, drawings, and screenshots from PayTrie's website or app) without PayTrie's express written permission;

Purchase keywords (including, but not limited to Google AdWords) that contain any of PayTrie's trademarks;

Use automated systems or bots through any channel to distribute, post, or otherwise share your referral code;

Use scripts or programmed or automatic dialers to send invites or otherwise share your referral code;

Make misleading claims about PayTrie, use offensive/abusive content, create fake websites/webpages/social media profiles/apps, misrepresent your connection to PayTrie, or otherwise make any false or misleading statements to get a referee/invitee to use your code;

or Use your referral code in any manner that violates the law or the rights of anyone else.

Remember, when you share your referral code, you should explain that you are an PayTrie referrer.

Multiple Referrals

A referred friend may only use one referral link. If a referred friend receives referral links from multiple Users, only the User associated with the referral link actually used by the referred friend will receive Credit.

The Program may not be combined with other PayTrie referral programs or incentives.

Severability

If any provision in these terms are held to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, such provision (or the part of it that is making it invalid, void or unenforceable) will be struck and not affect the validity of and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

Termination and Changes

PayTrie may suspend or terminate the Program or a user’s ability to participate in it at any time for any reason.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts or remove Credits if we notice any activity that we believe is abusive, fraudulent, or in violation of the PayTrie Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to suspend accounts or modify referrals in our sole discretion as deemed fair and appropriate.

If PayTrie ends any referral program, any unused or unredeemed Credits may be forfeited at that time, provided we give you 14 days of notice to use or redeem your Referral Rewards.

The scope, variety, and type of services and products that you may obtain by redeeming Credits can change at any time.

Updates to the Terms

We can update these terms at any time without prior notice. If we modify these terms, we will post the modification on the PayTrie.com website, applications, or services, which are effective upon posting. Continued participation in the Program after any modification shall constitute consent to such modification.
