Paytrie has implemented several controls to mitigate many of the risks associated with some stablecoins. This includes each CADC token being fully-backed by a Canadian dollar, or cash equivalents, held with a Canadian financial institution.

We hold this reserve [“in trust for”] CADC holders. We do not invest the asset of the reserve into any illiquid assets.
